Olivia
i am an interesting and cool and deeply intelligent person! fanatic about many many things, and largely nonsensical about others, i, along with maya, started hysteria with the intention of engaging youth discourse and debate. my one dream in life is to become pseudo-intellectual social capital, which I think will be attributed to me being verbose. I enjoy sharp cultural critiques, and political manifestos, but strongly dislike bad prose, and have a very small tolerance of fools. the only form of narcissism that i'm not good at is the about me section, and most day to day life activities.
Maya
a person who is intense to the point of mania, but only in a good way - i am firstly an orator of cicero-nian levels (haters will say a ranter), and secondly an anarchist (haters will concede this). you’ll find me, months without sleep, as i write the said mania fuelled manifesto on my latest historical/political niche - the only possible reason to entreat me from my desk would be a taylor swift concert or promises of good asian food. my grammatical structure reflects more and more, as i write on caffeine fuelled hazes, less and less of true english - my fatal flaw is grammar, and my vice is a relative clause.

I’m here to temper Olivia and Maya’s insanity (equate me to a child of a very dubious divorce). When I’m not battling the demons telling me to escape to the countryside to become a painter, I’m writing heavy-handed metaphors that don’t make sense, or rotting in bed with a pair of headphones on. I also love to lose my mind about art in all forms, but too often choose to express my wonderment through poorly curated Pinterest boards. this introduction like many other moments in life feels unfinished because i dont know what else to write

Hello, I’m Catherine! I’m a bit of a dreamer, and someday aspire to travel around the world to lots of diverse people and explore different cultures. My ideal night involves a hayao miyazaki film and and slightly scary, unabridged fairytales. I'm drawn to projects that empower voices and build connections, which is why Hysteria caught my attention. I enjoy applying my creative flair to make Hysteria connect with an even broader audience.

I put together all your idiotic little stories and your stupid little poems. Every day I wake up and make formatting mistakes in Adobe Illustrator. I love dense, gorgeous prose, see Paradise of the Blind. I write my own stupid little poems about Americana and love, I dream of moving to Switzerland with my best friend, I lament the modern 8am-3pm life of a schoolchild. My goals are to do a cartwheel and live the lifestyle of Macca Pacca.
